I am not really sure what you are asking but I think the idea to this case is that a short could occur at this location and cause a problem throughout the system so it is something to check. In order for there to be a case on this it must have happen to someone and that was the confirmed fix. So I figure since nothing else has worked to this point I may as well mention it and just maybe it could possibly help you.

When was the last time you changed the timing components, including the oil & water pump?

If the answer is never or more than 60-100k miles ago then I would suggest changing those all out just for peace of mind.

But the fact that the truck runs "better" when it is cold is very odd, I think it's time to take it to the dealership and have them give it a real good look.

Need to figure out what the speedo and turn signals have in common in the instrument panel.....referring to your original post. Need to take a look at the service manual and analyze it, see what you can find in common.

So as cabin heats up, problem gets worse? What if it is cold outside, and you don't run heater in cabin? Trying to figure out if problem is in cabin, or maybe in engine compartment as it heats up too the more you drive and run it. If it stays the same when you drive, and heat off in cabin, but then after a while, turn on heater, then it starts getting worse, then I would focus on the culprit being inside the cabin.
