Maybe your wife tried to cut your brake lines and instead nicked a vacuum hose or something.

If not, Download it ---for free--- from Weedahoe. Its the Roadmap to your truck.
Have you recalibrated the "Gas" pedal position sensor yet?

Also, run a ground wire to the TB. do this before you recal the pedal.
There is no way to recalibrate the Gas Pedal in the 1500s
Unless you turn the key and let it learn the pramaters

Doesn't matter if you buy a brand new Ford, Chevy, Toyota, or Dodge, it's still gonna be a bunch of junky, cheap american or jap parts surrounded by plastic and sheet metal. This ain't the 60s and 70s when trucks were built like tanks. But if you want help from the members here it's best not to insult the brand we like. Man up and grow a pair and fix your ****, dude.
I know this has already been addressed but dont make this website look like trash, with the trash you bring into it.

If you aren't going to contribute to this forum, please refrain from posting.

The OP was upset at the truck, and rightfully so, sometimes we all need to vent... so please cut it out.

Well, rather than you whining like a little bitch about him whining like a little bitch, try and post something that is helpful next time.

Pouring salt in an open wound to be a funny wise guy isn't helpful. Talking like that about his wife and her intentions is pretty disrespectful.

I think others have been very polite displaying their concern regarding your attitude. Either grow up or dont post.

Thank You. Its fine if you want to make a joke and not contribute to the help the problem, but dont lower your class to try to make someone feel like crap, and talking about someones family... those are fighting words to some people go be a bada** some where else where people will put up with that crap.

With all due respect, the situation is half his fault. Who the hell lets ANY shop, much less a dealer, throw expensive parts at their vehicle over and over? And if the parts didn't solve the problem, demand they reinstall the old parts and refund the cost of the unnecessary parts and labor. At the very least he has an easy lawsuit against the ripoffs.

DirtyDog dont you have the ability to remove offensive and abusive posts? If so this fella crossed the line with the wife post.

BlackRam the ground from the throttle body made the biggest differance to smoothing Idle for me. mine still will pulse a bit at idle like at a stop light, but it stays running. run some seafoam through the motor half a bottle in fuel tank and half through the brake booster vac line or one like it.. do it outside you will not be able to see in the garage if you dont if you live in the city might let the neighbors know so they dont call the fire dept.. ;-) Seafoam really cleans up the injectors..
