running lights and parking lights will not turn off!

Make sure you don’t spray the lacquer clear over corrosion because it can still get worse. Try to clean it off gently then clear it. Hopefully you won’t have to solder the jumper wire like I did. Once its cleared it would be very difficult to solder too.. If you do have to get a replacment Im not sure if they fixed the problem either it may do the same thing again..


even though love my truck,,,, I have had a lot of problems with my Electrical system.

I have 2008 dodge ram diesel wonder if it would be the same problem? it is only the passenger side marker lights and the roof lights that are on and wont shut off.

no problem was fixed after 2005..

It's more likely a problem with the Light Switch and/or TIPM on your 2008 Ram...

Did you figure the lights staying on issue ? I have the same issue last night with my 2004 Dodge durango 5.7 .I am pulling my hair out .Thanks for help .

Read thru this thread. Something about corrosion on the switch terminals? (I didn't read the other thread.)
