diy single turbo 4.7l magnum
And tools, at minimum beyond hand tools a dial indicator and torque wrench. As said, if you've never done it yourself before it's not something you want to tackle. Best case scenario if it isn't done right the gears are noisy. Worst case scenario is the gears self destruct.
Does anyone have the 08 intake manifold on there 4.7l magnum? And what kind of gains did they see? Because air ram told me it was an easy 10-15 whp and up to 30 with supporting mods and a tune, which is hard to believe.

It was a couple of months ago, but I think he was referring to bolt on mods.

I have all of the mods you described, but do you think I can honestly expect to gain that much power with all those mods and a tuner? I dont think I gained 20whp like airram said I could get from the 08 manifold.

Without pre-and post dyno numbers, you would never know. 10-15 HP, you wouldn't even feel with the butt dyno. Maybe 30 you could "feel" an improvement. Honestly, gears are your best choice at this time with your current set up.
yea thats what im going to end up doing its only 860$ for the kit from nitro gears
before i do the 4.56 gear swap i am looking to do a couple of mods i was thinking about doing the 08 intake manifold, gibson shorty headers, removing the pinched y pipe and putting in a new one, and a ho camshaft if i can find one. Is there any other low budget mods i could do to gain hp and tq i already have a fastman 69.5mm throttle body, single 2.5in to a dual 3inch flowmaster super 10 catback exhaust, a k&n cai, air ram power wire and a sct tuner with hemi fever canned tunes
