The silly gauge did not work. I went back and got another and it too was messed up. No readings. I have to go find another guage.

So I was finally able to get a fuel gauge. With key turned on the reading at the fuel rail was about 52 psi. I started truck with reading at almost 60 psi. Let truck sit for two hours. The fuel gauge steadily dropped. In less than two hours, it was reading zero. Now What??

If after a few minutes you can notice a pretty good drop in pressure I would there is an issue,,,check pressure at idle and see if its steady

Pressure at at idle was fluttering between 57-60 PSI. I had to raise idle before it stabilized at about 60 PSI.

I did not stay and watch it drop for long. It was slowly dropping. I left it and went back about two hours later, it was down to zero.

If pressure comes up to over 50 as soon as you turn the key on, fuel pressure isn't your issue.
