Default Nitto Grappler 295s v. BF goodrich all t 285s

OK with the help of a bunch of sites I all down to this. I have a 2006 Mega cab. Feel like stock 265/70/17 look small on it. (plus not really a performer)

I am going to add 17x9 Walker Evans rims now do I :

1) MAX out height/width 295/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers (I believe this is the max I can get on 17s without rubbing)

OR

2) 285/70/17 BF goodrich all terrains

I think the Nittos are about an inch bigger

I like both!!!! I had Nittos on my 04 4.7 and they worked great!!!!
However, the place i get my tires from shows a 50,000 mile warranty on the BFGs and nothing on the Nittos'. So i'll probably go BFG this time around!

I have the BFG AT/KOs on the stock 20" rims and I absolutely love these tires. Never thought I would like a white letter tire, but they look sweet.

I have the same size Nittos on my 04 Quad Cab and still have plenty of room in the wheel well. They also give me better traction in the rain and snow compared to my old tires (BFG's)

I've recently purchased the 185/70/17 BFG All-Terrain T/A KO.

Follow these links to see a couple pics.

Love these tires BTW.

I am getting the NIttos... I really like the BFG, but they are not quite big enough... I want my 2006 4.7 to sit just a little higher than a power wagon.

I'd get the TA KO's, but only for 2 reasons..
I've driven them and love them, and the size won't make much effect on your speedometer. The Nitto's you're buying will make your speedo read low... Watch out for Smokey.
