Default 09 Quad Cab Navigation and Audio Issues

Has anyone got a new Ram with the Navigation MyGig unit.

This weekend the entire unit froze and with would not send any navigation instructions to the speakers as well as would not show the calculated route on the screen. It was frozen for about an hour when I stopped for lunch. After lunch the unit restarted and worked fine. Has anyone seen this before?

Also My Audio goes in and out sometimes. It will play fine for a hour and then it will cut out for 5 seconds or so and then will play for another hour with no problems. It happens very infrequently but it sure is annoying when you are really not trying to miss any of the music or movie.

The only time my audio cuts out is when the satellite radio looses signal... like under or bridge or in the garage or something

Yeah, this happens to me as well. Seems like the Sirius signal is not as strong as the XM one was. My signal never went out with XM unless I was in a tunnel. Bridges and trees had no effect.

Default mine to

I have the navi system and mine cuts out occaisonally too.
When I go under a bridge it cuts out. I expect that in this truck now.
The truck is not as strong a signal as my car.

However mine also cuts out in open areas. Kinda like the navi is going to say something then decides not to.
Its annoying and something to keep an eye on. Might be a problem.

I'm going to go by the dealer tomorrow and see if they have heard of this issue. I can't stand it any longer. It happens every time I drive it. I think your right, its got to be a problem. I believe that the navigation system needs an update.

Default Audio

I have the same audio issue.

I thought it was my LockPick and was going to send it back to them. It happens while watching DVD's as well. It not just SAT.

Mine just started cutting out after I installed the Lockpick. Audio is cutting out on movies. Sounds like a Lockpick related issue and not a Dodge issue if everyone who is having the issue has a lockpick. Like I said, I noticed the audio cutting out only after the lockpick was installed.

There's got to be someone we can ask?
