Leather comes with heated/cooled seats. If you get cloth you don't get the heated/cooled option. Other than that, everything else is seperate.

I haven't seen any Laramies without leather (and I've seen at least 40 of them) and I know you can't get the heated/cooled seats unless you get the leather seats.

I find it odd that this forum is more concerned about mufflers, and accessories when all of us are about to be abandoned. If you really believe that the government is going to back up your warranty claims, well think again.
I should have bought the Ford. Does not look nearly as good, but at least I would not have to lose any sleep over it.

Seriously......What are you people thinking?
There has been quite a bit of discussion on here about this, but our warranties will not disappear. There might be some uncertainty or some difficulty getting things accomplished for a short while, but our warranties will not disappear even if Chrysler does.

Anyone who bought a 2009 Dodge Ram with the heated/cooled vetilated seats that are experiencing abnormal seat wear.
Please post a discription of the wear and add a picture if you have time.

I will not cease searching for a resolve for all us with this failing seat cover.

Thanks
Blue

Cool

I have been following this thread since the beginning. I am one of the people who's weight is mostly on the outside portion of the seats, but I too have noticed that I am beginning to get the "wavy" pattern that looks like a "butt print". It looks exactly like the last pictures that blue2050 posted of his new covers. I will try to remember to take my camera with me to get pictures.

I have a Laramie CC with heated/cooled seats and the light colored interior. Built 03/09 Currently 1000 Miles

I currently have an Acura TL and when the 3rd gen (2005 - 2008) came out they had the same issue with the seats. My current TL (99 model with 155k miles) seats look better than my buddies 2007 TL with 40k miles. If I recal it did get better but there were/still are issues. I really think that the perforated leather they are using is the root cause, and I can't think of what will fix it. It is just not as durable as the "leather/vinyl" that has been used for so long. I test drove a laramie with the AC seats and did not notice the issue but I could tell that the leather was not as "firm" as my current seats. it was much more giving and I could tell it could stretch/move.

it is a shame because the seats look GREAT and the AC function was on my short must have list for my next vehicle. Hopefully the wear does not become extreme or I may have to take that want off the list...

So blue, did you get a new truck and give up on the replacement seat?
