2009 Ram Hemi Superchips Tuning Released
1954Radio,
What do you mean by "scrapping them?" Are you referring to them completely putting in a NEW tranny or just rebuilding the old ones. When I took mine in they just rebuilt it with new parts. My question is will I continue to see problems in the future if that's the case. It would have been about $4000 if it wasn't under warranty.
Also, do you have any information/links as to how prevalent the tranny problems are with these trucks/cars? The dealer I took mine too said that my trucks tranny going out at 33,000 miles was very rare and hadn't seen it before. So, the possibility of the superchip having something to do with it entered my mind.

What do you mean they flashed your truck and now you can put your superchips in there? What was the flash for on your receipt? Did you bring it back to stock before bringing your truck in? I'm scared to bring my truck in for any reason if they end up doing the same.
I'll have to look at receipt, but yes there was an update to the PCM. I did have the truck back to stock, so when I put the tuner back on it scanned and had me download to Superchips. Going on 5 weeks now. Ususally they get right back, hell, I'm thinking of buying a Diablo and selling this one just so I can get my tune back!

That's because up to the 2011 PCM security has been easy. Trust me, we would love to sell products for these years but the new security measures Chrysler has in place are very tough to break.
That being said, we have made headway with Cummins applications and hopefully that will equate to some forward movement in the gas apps as well.

.. I had the truck in for a recall and they flashed the PCM while it was there... Since then Superchips has yet to get me an update!! Been a month! I know they are working on it, but damn I miss the extra get up and go...
