So has anyone cracked the ecu for the 2011 Ram yet? I keep looking for a tuner that will work but can't find one. This truck has been out a year now and still no tuner? That's kinda strange.

I seen that a place called Fast Eddies shows a Bully Dog tuner for the 2011 Ram 5.7. Has anyone tried that? Does this mean that Bully Dog has come up with the code to get in the ecu?

Just tested my SC tuner. Used the 93 oct setting and rev limiter to 6400 and shifting points 6200 1-2 and 6150 2-3.
Can´t really tell the gain in hp but the transmission shifts just like I want it at WOT!!

Awesome!!

Ok I just had to pull my tuning for a dealer visit. I haven't updated it or screwed around with it since the trans update was released a long time ago.

It's been a while so I should probably update the firmware?

What torque management was everyone setting it at? Wasn't it at 8% because for some reason 0 % didn't have as good results?

Anything else I'm missing?

I previously was running the premium gas tune, with just the superchips trans tuning, I didn't manually set it

Update. This truck is a beast!! When I pulled my tuning I swear I couldn't tell that much of a difference. After a week of drivin it and them re installing the tuning it's really dramatic.

I updated the tuner online. Im running 93 tune, have shift points at wot 5600 and rev limiter set at 6k. Chirpin em into second. On my truck it seems like I could raise the shift point wot a little more and increase the rev a little more. Probably because of my 3.55 rear end.

Since I never heard anything back I set my torque management to 8% in wot like it was before and chose superchips setting for part throttle.

Look in my sig for my add ons. IMHO I think the biggest factor is the torque management..

I wish i could get my tuning put back in .. I had the truck in for a recall and they flashed the PCM while it was there... Since then Superchips has yet to get me an update!! Been a month! I know they are working on it, but damn I miss the extra get up and go...

Thmupr,
I am currently having the same problem you are. However, I took (towed more like it) my truck into the dealership because part of the tranny went out at 33,000 miles. I am wondering if this could be contributed to my superchips programmer?

Anyways, they fixed it all up and put the new PCM on it and I messaged superchips. They have been working on my calibration for quite a while now. But, given the recent events with my tranny I am not sure if it's worth the risk of putting it back on there.

Maybe so, never know for certain.. I think Dodge did some major changes on the MDS system because the truck feels smoother and doesn't run as rough when driving at slow speeds.. Maybe Superchips is having to re-do for all this.

Neither Superchips or Diablo tuning has anything to do with the problems that these transmissions are having. Ask Chrys if you don't beleive me...that's why they're scrapping them. They have been aware of these issues for some time and they are well aware that the costumers do too. Don't be afraid to reinstall your tune...the tuners are safe to use.
