Well that makes sense cuz I am in Canada, it would do you no good for me to give you my receipt that dealership would just say that only applies in Canada. I would not give the guy in florida the business, even if he does it for free he still gets paid from Chrysler. You think they do this for free? I would report them to Customer Service at Chrysler.

Changing is not the problem, the Evic menu switches from miles to km and the outside temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit. It's just the System Info menu that stays in Celsius format. Before the flash the System info menu items also switched to Fahrenheit.
No official Dealer help for me, it's just me and a Starscan, Crysler doesn't support gray exported vehicles outside the US/Canada market.

The posters truck IS under warranty for the flash/update.Its not DODGE per se telling him NO .Its a UNINFORMED employee in a dealer service dept. Not a Chrysler area REP that would even question doing the update on a clean under 3/36 truck and I bet even OUT of warranty would sign off on it.Go higher up.Ask the SERVICE MANAGER if HE/SHE thinks there's a issue and if so to ASK the rep to explain why.OR go to another dealer that has a more informed employee.

Took the truck in today to get the update. It only took 30 minutes and the Fuel Saver light was on. I got it done in La Vista, NE at Performance Dodge. They already knew the TSB. Very quick process.
Just got mine today also. I find it interesting how much it is on also. Once up to speed it kicks in and stays on unless pulling grade or putting the foot into the throttle. So, imo its normal.
