I think this flash made my outside temperature indication better. It now updates immediately after starting up the truck instead of taking 5 or so minutes before updating.

I had to take it to a second dealer for them to get it right..... First one said they applied the flash and nothing. Took it to another dealer, and they got it done in 20 minutes. Maxwell Dodge sucks. Mac Haik is not as crappy.

My dealer knew nothing of this download. Showed them this thread and they applied the download and still no fuel saver light. Went back a few weeks later and a different tech did the download, and all seems to be good.

I took my truck to the dealer to get the flash today. They must not have done it right because I don't have the Fuel Saver indicator or the options to enable it in the EVIC.

Had mine done yesterday. I can say with 99% certainty that "fuel saver" does NOT mean the MDS is activated. Without the light I became pretty aware of when the MDS was on and the light is on much much more than the MDS.

Well I did something today, I paid attention to the Fuel Saver and when it came on and off. I went WOT and as soon as I let off the pedal the Fuel Saver light came on immediately. Went off when I stopped. I kept the gas steady until then after the WOT. Pretty much anytime you are not accelerating fairly hard the light is on. What I want to do next time I have a highway trip planned I want to check the mileage with the MDS on one way and off the other way. Fill up at the same stations here and there. When doing this I fill it then start it and reset it make sure the computer has the same mileage before I leave just add gas or drive around a bit till it is ready .

I agree...I just had my PCM updated a few weeks ago (not for the fuel saver light, I already had it), and my light comes on all the time. Prior to that, it only came on with the MDS....WTF Dodge???

This is so stupid. I think I have enough sense to know that I'm saving fuel when I let off the gas, I don't need a light to tell me. I just want to know when mds is on.

Ya I'd also like to know ONLY when the MDS is on. That way you truely know when you are really saving fuel. The fuel saver light being illuminated under light accel is a joke.
