There is proof it works besides me someone else got it done in here but he is having "Canadian Problems" maybe unless its just a reset in the EVIC. So there

 

Too bad it wasn't the ECO line graph like the 2010's...I had a 2010 loaner the other day when I had mine in it was pretty cool...BTW, it was a 2500 diesel crew cab with the 8' bed...that was a LOOOONNNNNNGGGG truck....and it had the ECO setup, so definitly not limited to the Hemi's.

 

Changing is not the problem, the Evic menu switches from miles to km and the outside temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit. It's just the System Info menu that stays in Celsius format. Before the flash the System info menu items also switched to Fahrenheit.

No official Dealer help for me, it's just me and a Starscan, Crysler doesn't support gray exported vehicles outside the US/Canada market.

 

72 do you mind me asking where you got yours done? I was talking to my rep and she seems to think it is a States thing and not in Canada yet. I would like to let her know where you had yours done.

 

when I talked to my dealer in AZ, they could not find 72combo ref number. they did find TBS 08-007-10 which someone else provided.

NUMBER: 08-007-10 This bulletin applies to vehicles built with 5.7 Liter engine sales code EZDSYMPTOM/CONDITION: The Economy light does not come on when the vehicles engine goes into MDS mode.DIAGNOSIS: If the vehicle operator describes the above Symptom/Condition, perform the Repair Procedure.

Just had mine done. SLT 4x4 Hemi build date 10/08. TSB 08-007-10 . It worked.
Fuel Saver is option in Setup menu. Light comes on in the cluster.

I never could hear when mds kicked in. Maybe now I can learn the differnt exhaust sounds. Still smooth as silk in going from 8/4/8.

Think I will send Dodge a thank you.

 

Just got my fuel saver light on my truck it looks good if anyone near tulare ca needs work on there truck take it to lampe dodge there good people

 

I just returned from my local dealer and he easily looked up the update in his computer. They updated my truck in about 15 minutes and I now have the fuel saver light I have wanted for 1.5 years. Nice!

Called the dealer here in south florida, they said this is not covered under warranty repair, and that they have tried to but dodge will not do it, I informed them that it was covered but she said that it costs 109 to do. Can someone scan and post their service performed paperwork so I can print and take with me next tuesday? or send it to me at bamahemi@aol.com, can't believe they are trying to soak me for this, well whats not to believe, right?
