Well, I finally got Maxwell to find the TSB. For anyone else that's having a hard time with their dealer finding it, have them search using the last 8 or 9 of your VIN. That worked. As mentioned, it's not found when they just look in the TSB database or whatever and even when I told them to search using the EZD engine code they didn't find it, but searching using the VIN worked.

Got mine flashed this morning. Working great! Mine is a 9/08 build date so it is one of the earlier builds. The Fuel Saver indicator comes on whenever it is in MDS mode and is not based on throttle position alone. I even saw it come on in reverse which kind of surprised me. It took them about 20 minutes and I was out of there.

I was thinking the same thing about the throttle position because you can leave the accelerator pedal stationary and the light will go on and off as you go up and down hills. Also, when the truck is cold, the light would not come on until I drove about 1/2 mile or so. If it was based on pure pedal position, this would not have happened.

Did you go to the dealer in Danville? If Mann chrysler in Richmond still doesn't get this by tomorrow then I may have to head over there.

Yep! Just go in and tell Annie that I (Craig Wall)sent you. I walked in and was out in 20 minutes no appointment or anything. Bob Allen Chrysler on Maple Ave. Of course my Father works there and is good friends with Bob. All I did was give her the TSB number and she said all she needed to do was reprogram the information center and it was done.

Thanks Craig. I live over in Jackson County and usually go to the richmond dealer since I'm always going through there. I've been to Bob Allens a few times

I wanted to see if the truck would go into MDS mode while in reverse. I was surprised that it did. I was backing down my driveway where the only danger was to some blades of grass had I been stupid enough to drive off the driveway. I glanced down as I was coasting a bit where if it were to work it would be on and flashed on for a bit. I also glance down at the dash while driving in the forward direction too. I sometimes look at the backup camera as well as each of my three mirrors. I rarely turn around to look where I am going.

It is working as intended and if the wife wants to turn it off she can. She gets 17 MPG and I get 22 MPG and she still does not understand why.

Has anyone noticed that when not in cruise the fuel saver light in in full caps in the spot where the cruise controls little clock thing lights up when cruise is on, the fuel saver light moves up above the cruise control spot...why would they have two spots for the light? Why not just put it above the cruise all the time? Anyone notice this?

Mine is always above the cruise indicator. It is right next to the Trip A indicator. I have not yet put it into cruise control yet. I would not think mine would change. I will investigate further and let you know what I find.
