Yeah got it done and truck back, they fixed the vinyl and replaced the rubber moulding that they damaged, the SA called and said that they would do the ECO b/c the district mgr would sign off on it, I told her that this is a warranty issue and has nothing to do with him, but was glad my wrangling is over on this round. This is the second SA I have dealt with there, the first one I dealt with claimed how smart and all knowing his techs were when I tried to get my rear cam activated, they had it all day with no luck, took it home and found/fixed the issue within 10 minutes, so next time I will deal with someone different, they have like 10 SAs. If you have an issue call the Dodges Customer service at 18004adodge, and if needed I will send you a copy of my paperwork!

Forget what I said I was going by info from my wife. She told me this but then I went for a ride and well the FUEL SAVER light is just above the cruise control little box. It never changes, I think she is not getting enough sleep. LOL.

So I called both dealerships in my city and neither one of them have heard of this ECO Flash. They even punched in my VIN and nothing came up??? If someone could PM me and send me a copy of their bill I could take it to them and shove it in their faces. Very frustrating!

this is why i HATE F^)(& DEALERS!!!

i gave them the numbers. they told me that since they cant find anything my truck prob doesnt fall under the eco flash update. thats funny my truck is an early build without the F%#&* LIGHT!! man i wish i could get away with being such an idiot at my place of work... you know, "most" service people (not all) dont give a crap about anything except getting a paycheck.....

ok, rant over...

I brought my 09 truck to the dealer for service yesterday. (It's a Sept, 08 build date) I gave the service writer the TSB 08-007-10---SB number and asked to have it flashed if applicable.
When I picked up the truck and drove it home it now has the fuel saver light displayed turning off and on.
I was surprised at just how often it comes on in SO CAL 5 PM stop and go traffic. I would of expected it to be on allot less in a 4 wheel drive truck like mine, considering the crappy mileage I get with it.

Hey, it's a 5.7 HEMI - "Thirsty by Nature"... It'll never be competition for a Prius !!

But...

I've been miles into the Arizona Backcountry - Forest Service "Improved" 2-track or Washboarded Gravel or 6-inch deep Desert Dust - in 4-Hi and even moderate uphill grades, and had sustained MDS engaged. It's pretty interesting to think that I'm "Saving Fuel" while stomping around in the hinterlands.

I had mine done at Marine Chrysler in Vancouver. Sorry do not have the invoice, they scheduled me for the exhaust manifold bolts and of course they didnt have the parts, and both jobs will be on same invoice. I just gave them the flash numbers that have been posted, F-08-63-10 DS or TSB 08-007-10. Works like a charm and like others have mentioned I am amazed how often the "Fuel Saver" comes on while city driving. I hope you can sort out the dealers where you are, cheers!
