With CAMVAP, I am allowed to discuss the outcome of the case. So, don't worry, when this goes to court, I will continue to discuss it, and let everyone know how it went, and what hassle I went through.

I hope I don't have to go this route. I really like my current truck, and want to keep it. I just want the problems resolved.... properly

After all that crap with that particular truck, you should just lemon law it (if possible) and get your $$ back. Then if you choose to, you can buy another ram, but why try to get them to keep fixing that POS?

We don't have a LEMON law in Canada. I can't just tell them to buy the vehicle back. We have CAMVAP, which is a company that will be an arbitration between myself and Chrysler Canada. Most of the time, they will order a repair on the vehicle instead of a buy-back.

However, since the truck has been in the shop so many times, and they keep saying the problems are normal, and there is no repair, then I have a case for a buy-back. The truck is in the shop right now for the last time. If it comes back with no repairs, then my lawyer and I will proceed with a buy-back (if camvap awards it).

** Jan 18 UPDATE **

Dealer found a bad actuator in the transfer case causing the 4x4 shifting problem. Replaced it under warranty. Not sure if it was faulty, or because of the previous major repair done on the vehicle. Regardless, that's replaced, so I'm happy about that!

The investigation regarding the repair of the knocking is ongoing, and will find out what they decide to do on Monday.

I am enjoying saving gas driving my loaner Dodge Dart!

How could they tell it was a bad actuator when it was operating normally?
[/sarcasm]
