Good news..The radio switching from radio to auxiliary was with the media hub. They replaced the media hub. ..it is now fixed.

Now then the fix for the key fob is another module. ..it's on order...go figure.

1. They couldn't fix...told us to wait...it could be 6 months.
2. We took it in to have flashed after 4 1/2 months of dealing with the issue...they had more updates, it did not fix it, however they said they also had the update to replace the media hub.- they placed one on order and called yesterday to schedule installation. We have it scheduled to replace the hub today.
3. However, once they did the last software update, my key fob to lock and unlock the door stopped working...They will supposedly look for a fix today for that as well. Fingers crossed.

I will let you know if the media hub replacement fixes the issue.

Hey sszztop,

Just curious, how long did that take them to replace the media hub? They are telling me that they want to replace a complete wiring harness assembly, which will take approx. 4 hrs.

Thanks,

Lee

Thanks man. It makes sense actually, given that as long as there is a 1/8" audio cable plugged in, the problem goes away.

I'll ask my dealer to replace the media hub, and let everyone know how it turns out.

Best Regards,

Lee

I purchased an auxiliary cable and after plugging it in, the problem goes away. However, this is a temporary fix.

Does anyone know if replacing the media hub is a permanent fix?

Default Truck

Well a new media hub did not fix the problem in our truck. They are now ordering 2 new cables that run from the USB port to the hub so I am on fix number 6.

Will let you know what happens.

Just had the very same radio problem like yours. Replaced the center flip up console auxiliary plug in unit. The one with the USB plug in and problem gone.
