Disconnect from the booster. The idea here is, see if the booster is giving you a massive vacuum leak. Although, on der diesel, I don't even know if that would be an issue.....

 

it was suggested that the spool valve in the valve body is the cause of the slow lock up....thoughts?

 

No idea on that. It's possible a sticking valve could cause your problem.
