Default New PCM and Blue Smoke

Hope y'all can help a lady out!

Couple of months ago, 06 Caravan 3.8L 87k miles displayed check engine light. No codes.

Within a couple of weeks, van wouldn't crank without numerous tries. Not clicking like battery, like it couldn't catch.

Took to a mechanic. Checked from top to bottom, couldn't find any problems even with codes it was throwing at the time. Mechanic said to replace PCM.

While waiting on arrival of rebuilt PCM, van was driveable. With each gear change, van would try to stall - do hard jerks, letting up on accelerator allowed correction and to drive on. Different codes with each start; with frequent ones being P0035, P0300.

New PCM installed yesterday. Van started easier, not great. Threw codes P0035 and P0202.

This morning, van starts with no problems but there is a strong smell of gas, horrible gas mileage (went from estimated 8 miles of fuel to 0 while warming up in the drive for approx. 10 minutes). When driving, there is visible but small amount of blue smoke from tail pipe. However, when driving less than 20 mph or braking, there is a lot of blue smoke visible.

I'm ready to just kick this van to the curb unless y'all can give me some ideas on what this could be.

p0202 suggests #2 injector is not working
somehow i cant figure why your having a turbo code (p0035) when theres no turbo on this van.
how are you retrieving these codes? you have a scanner?

perhaps the code is P0135??

did the mechanic not think p0035 was an odd code for this van???

I think the problem isn't a computer issue, it's a wiring issue like the wires on the back valve cover

Sorry that I'm just now getting back.

I kept typing my code wrong earlier, it was actually P0335 - so no turbos. I get the codes by doing the key dance.

Someone else suggested that the rebuilt PCM we just installed may be bad. Thoughts?

My thoughts are there is something else causing the problem. very rare for PCM's to go bad. more common is to have damaged wiring

So, you have same codes BEFORE and AFTER the PCM was replaced. You don't think that's suspect and the guy who replaced your PCM just might be a duffuus? You need to kick HIM to the curb, not your van.

crank sensor problem
maybe the sensor, or wiring, have a different mechanic look into the crank sensor.

let us know when the van is for sale!!

how would a bad crank sensor cause it not to crank?

I think you need to start over on your post. Meaning did you have a no crank problem, or did a jump start was able to crank and start. Do you know if you still have the old PCM. If you do, i would put the old PCM back in the van and start over. And then let us know what the codes were.

ive read all my posts and have never said it would, seems from OP its cranked since the new PCM.
why would we be addressing a problem that doesnt exist anymore?

we should be adressing now the p0335 code - Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction (hence the suggestion to have someone look at the sensor/wiring)
and the P0202 code
