How can you not like this car? I am a mopar guy all the way but I love the new mustangs. Old school is where it's at. I been sayin for 10 years now, if any of the big 3 would make a late 60's early 70's looking car with today's technology, they would sell a million of them. Hang on dudes.....we are on the verge of a new era in muscle!! If I told you 15 years ago Chrysler would resurect the hemi would you have believed me? If I told you Ford would actually resurect the stang in it's near original form (old school), would you have believed me? Next up (I pray) 2008 Hemi Challenger! Do you believe me? This "could" get real fun and interesting and yeah baby exciting!

peace

ORIGINAL: nickoman01

the caliber, and the new small jeeps will be build at belvedere.

I'm sorry but inside instrument panel and radio are fugly. other then that it looks bad ***. i love what they did to the engine compartment, and the wheels and stuff.

Joe according to allpar and other sources the Pacifica is the same platform as the minivans.

It is but it isn't. Its very modified. I was thinking about 2007 when they both separate entirely, sorry. But to prove we can build several non sharing platforms we should look no further than where I work! Duh I can't believe I didn't use warren truck as this example. We build rams and dakotas on the same lines. So we can, and do build two completely different platforms on the same assy line!

Some of us that work for dc know how dc works. If they can't find a place to build it it will get scrapped. DC will not build anymore plants period. Plus some of us(me) are hoping to be able to help build these beauties! And I'd like to see an "American Muscle Car" built here in America. What a concept!

So where has Mr. Creed been during all of this? I've noticed I've not seen, nor heard anything from him lately!
Joe

joe, any rumor to this "new platform", or is it indeed just a shortened LX?

Its the LY. Its the replacement for the lx. I'm also hearing this new "modular" platform may be the building blocks to most of all dc future car endeavors. Meaning that this platform could be modified to build mid-size to full-size cars, and car based suvs.

So no word from trevor eh?[sm=loser.gif]

If anyone has noticed and is wondering about the first gauge on the left, it is actually a telemetry computer that shows 1/4 mile and ET and max RPM for each gear, now how bad a** is that. I know that it would never make production like that, but it would be one of the coolest features.

I love the functional ram air system...FINALLY. Has not been in mopar existence since the 'lil Red Express truck! And even the old Challengers had fake scoops...too cool if they actually do this thing.[sm=coolness.gif]
