did you have any engine codes with doing it this way. And what did you do about the power steering pump, and alternator?

If I remember right. The alternator and power steering pump bolted right up to the 13 engine.

So from my understanding it takes a crank sensor, reluctor wheel and cam phaser lockout to make this work is that correct?

Because eagle 5.7s are significantly cheaper than the pre eagle ones

yeah mds delete was part of the plan aswell but if that’s all it might make more sense to go with an eagle swap modding seems to be cheaper too

For the mds, your pre mds car and harness won't have the ability to run mds. With the mds solenoids unplugged they won't function to my understanding.

The proper way of course would be to get a new cam, lifters, and plugs and fully delete the mds. But not needed to make it run.

"VVT". The cars always had MDS. Not the same system. Any 05 and up automatic LX/LD/LC can run MDS, however 05-08 LX cannot run VVT.

Oh damn you're right. My bad. I always get the 2 mixed up. I forget that mds came before vvt. I haven't had a hemi vehicle since I sold the car I did this swap in. Which was very shortly after it ran.
