Fog Light bulb listed doesn't exist
My owners manual says the fog light bulb is a "PSX24W" but no source of light bulbs list such a lamp. Sylvania cross reference says the fog light bulb is a 2504 which also doesn't exist even at Osram Sylvania.
So what is the correct lamp part number for the 2010 Journey?
TIA

So crawled under the car and removed panels till iwas able to get to the Fog Light base. It took a while to figure out how it came out. Release clips on either side and pull.
Still don't know what the bulb is, but it is obvious that the UNIT is a DODGE ONLY part. It is a 24 watt, 12 volt unit. The part number is for the assembly. The bulb cannot be replaced in the assembly. So getting a usable amount of light to fulfill the fog/driving light function is impossible.
I hope the photos come out OK. I have not tried to upload any to this forum before now.

It Truely Sucks
Something as cheap and simple as a light bulb, that will burn out, should not be recreated as to make it totally unique to one car or manufacturer. I am afraid to see how much Dodge wants for a replacement.
It shouldn't require too much modification to the mounting for the lamp to change it to an aftermarket unit that will take a normal hi intensity/halogen bulb.
I will investigate the possibilities when the weather warms up.
I did put a set of HID's in for the low beams. 6000K is s good color/temp. The problem Dodge's have with HID's is that they flicker and can go out intermittently. I found a 6 ohm 50 watt resister across the lead from headlight switch to relay (recommended) coil input. The light flicker a bit when first turned on, but that quits once the resister gets hot. So far, 30 days, I am loving them.
