i havent seen any pods the completely replace the piller...just the ones that partially overlay it..(thats what i got from ebay for 19.00)
the oil ending unit is located on the back of the block by the tranny..if you look from underneath the car then the sensor should have a green clip and there should be a cross brace that goes from the tranny to the block...the sensor is right next to the brace

Blah...blah...blah. I had a turbo from Hahnracecraft for my old '95 neon. I don't know what you're talking about it being a 1st gen and all. If you're talking a Stage 1 turbo kit running 10-11 seconds I'm calling B.S. on you also. The stage 1 turbo kit from hahnracecraft was putting out around 230-250hp to the crank. You would need their stage 4 or 5 kit to be running those times. So please...SHHH!!!ORIGINAL: AirWolf

I never said my 96 was a 11 second ride maybe a 12 like hahn said and mines a stage 2 turbo kit.Shes being redone meaning custom painted and 17inch rims and tires and drop , kitted, cuda hood, and alot more. I havent actually had her out this year shes being worked on by my husband and me . Also my sxt is just being built for shows and cruizin around no turbo nitrous is in my 96 now. I have nothing against any turbo or supercharged ride love all of them!

this was hallarious. garret your sending is on the back of the block closer to the driver side. just to play along your both right thats what boost controllers are for. back when i was on stock internals with a couple bolt ons. my turbo had me doing a 13.4 however i blow up that motor after awile and its a five speed. how much boost your car can handle depends on the turbo. an srt turbo will be safe around 8lbs the 20g around 12lbs and larger turbos the internals can handle more. it all depends on your spool dump. and wolf you have to understand that without pics people woulnt believe you. i have pics of my motor just so i dont go throw the same thing. garret if you need help i got a garret too.
I added a cold air to mine--short ram air. It gives me alittle more torque though it isnt noticeable till i get to the drag strip.
Other than the cold air, there are no mods to the 02 neon sxt. It runs 14s...
Tires help i think, i got 205/60s on stock 15s. Plus I like to remove some excess weight before i race, like take the subs out of the trunk, the passenger seat, and whatever else i had laying in there that was not difficult to remove, then put back really quick and drive home.
Still, stock neon sxts are not half bad. It WILL beat a grand prix V6. It WILL beat a tacoma SR5, it WILL beat a 66 mustang running a straight six two barrel carb (my room mate's... he broke the drive shaft just from goosing at a dead stop...)
