Talk about a headache[8D]

 

You know it is really hard for me to watch these...some are fun and some are cute. But most just scare the **** outta me. I have way to many friends playing in the sand box.

I hate seeing the eyes of these men & women I know what they are feeling. I know how hard it is. I am so thankful for my time in service. I am even more thankful for everyone still wearing the uniform today.

When I was 19 and young and dumb and lifted my right hand I thought it was all gonna be about shinning my boots and shooting big guns I was really lucky and never had to hang it all on the line like our men and women are doing today.

Veterans Day may be next week but if you can (I know not everyone lives 5 miles from two major military installations like I do) make an effort to make sure anyone you see in uniform knows that you're thankful for what they do.

I don't really drink coffee,, lol, I'm always wide open. But yeah, it all looks good on video and it seems real fun,,, till you get shot at for real. The sphincter pucker factor is about a 12.5 on a 10 scale at that point. Thank goodness I was in the Air Force,,, we touch, grab and go. Barely there long enough to break a sweat. My ex-wifes brother is in the Marines and is going to Iraq in March of 2008. He's an MP and supposed to be runnin with Ordinance disposal.

the unit I am in right now would spend enough time boots on ground to know exactly what type to fertilizer to use to get the scoponongs/muskadines to grow right for some good wine

my other units I lived in either the back of a built up duce or the rolling hotel A.K.A the M88A1.

 

You know Drew, I almost went in the Army then changed my mind and chose the AF. What you just said is exactly why I changed,, lol.
