Mayfair, I've heard those leveling kits that just contain spacers can give your truck a rougher ride. It's a more expensive option, but the only one I would install on mine is a Kore HD Leveling Kit. It gives about two inches of lift.

don't worry about leveling it. just lift the whole truck! it might make the ride stiffer but i love mine lifted! while your at it throw in some bigger injectors and a chip. you won't regret it!

Park your truck on a flat surface and measure the distance from the lower lip of the front fender, directly above the front axle, to the ground. Then jack up the front of the truck until the measurement has increased by 1", stand back and look to see if you like the stance. Do this for a 1, 1.5 and 2" and see which one blows you hair back. I'm going with 2". Good luck!

I know I am in the extreme minority in this, but I voted for don't bother. I've never liked the leveled look cause to me, it always looks like it's squating in the rear. Then throw some weight on there and it the squat is really pronounced.
I mean no offense to the guys that have them, it's just my opinion.

Also mayfair, if you get spacers, get one made of SOLID metal like the Tough Country Spacers. The others are made of plastic and will wear and give over time. I have heard people complain about the solid metal kits making squeeking noises, but I have them and it is just as quiet as it was when I first got the truck.
