Default Another oil change rant

Mayfair how long can we go making fun of guys without a quick drain.

Almost had to get out a tool as the filter was tighter than when I put in on, but thanks to my big hands,I got it off and didn't have to get the strap wench.

And dam it took me 15 minutes to change the oil, oil filter and fuel filter, I left the the hard as hellto findgrease fitting on the front drive shaft till after Church tomorrow

****, i undid the nut let it drain then realize i couldnt find my filter wrench[:@], couldnt pour the old crap back in cause i had just changed my diffs so that was mixed in, so wound up having to put the new crap in, drive to the store, get the tool (again) and then take off the filter and put the new one in, didnt lose much oil though... maybe a half pint.

I don't know about you guy's but I have the hardest time screwing the new filter on. That's the hardest part of the job, and it takes me forever to get it started. After that's done though, yeah, it's a cake walk. I just changed mine thursday night in the dark.

Ididn't have a problem with the oil filter till this time, it was being a pain to get started, I finely stuck my right hand through the wheel well to help get it on, then it was easy, I changed it four times, 3 with the quick drain and this was the first time the filter fought back

I'm holding out. I'm not gonna submit to you guys pressure. No cornstalk or twig is gonna accidently activate my drain gizmo and dump my Cummins' life blood without warning. I will drop the plug in the bucket and fish it out with a magnet and have an oily hand and ratchet forever. (Besides used oil only causes cancer in the state of Kalifornia.)

It would never happen. you have to move it out of anotch before you can turn it , but don't feel bad , I know a guy still uses nothing but screwdrivers as the cordless drills might scratch the screws lol
