Looks like this thread hasn't done anything in a while....so.....since I'm new here thought I would chime in.

My best ever mileage with my truck 24.3 mpg. Was all highway running at about 62 mph.

My normal mileages though are:
Highway: 20.8-23.1 mpg
In Town: 17-18 mpg
Towing: 11-14 mpg

NOT STOCK!!! 2004 Ram 2500 4x4 w/4" Lift (No, not the 2004.5)
Edge w/Attitude Tuner, HiRam Intake, Cold Air Intake, True 4" Exhaust/Turbo Back, Big Head Waste Gate Actuator
3:73 Gears w/48RE 4speed Auto (Wish I had the 6 spd manual now!)
I run additive off and on, usually use the grey bottle PS, have used the lucas and like it as well.

Found the biggest drops in mileage from my Lift and Tires! Had under 10K miles on the truck at the time and lost 2mpg when each one was done!

Default 12 mpg on a good day towing nothing...

12 mpg on a good day towing nothing... Truck is tuned, stock 3.73 gears, 4wd 5.7 gasser. Stock height tires (BFG A/Ts but nothing special).

When towing my #5000 combined weight trailer (#2500 trailer, and horses, and gear, we figure is around #5000)... I get about 9 mpg.

Calculated by hand folks... computer is off by like 2 mpg at any given time.

My gas mileage got worse when I removed my gibson exhaust, and went back to stock.

other things to note in your post:
1) Are you stock, Yes or No and what are you running
2)Fuel addatives, Yes or No and what kind of Mix (brand and how much per tank)
3)Auto or Manual
4) rear axel ratio
5) 2wd or 4wd

the last three might seen a bit odd, but this might show potential buyers the fuel mileage hit one will get between auto, manual and 4x4

Me.
still stock
16oz Power Service Grey Bottle & 8oz MMO
NV5600 6spd
4.10's
4x4
2006 5.9L w/129,000 miles, Towing a 20ft enclosed car trailer 8.5 at the pump and the dash reads 14mpg and running empty 10.5-11 at the pump and the dash reads 22mpg. go figure, no one else can

1. Not stock-K&N Cold Air intake, 5" Magna Flo exhaust from the turbo, Edge FuelMax Chip.

2. None-should i be?

3. Auto

4. I believe it is a 3.73?

5. 4wd crew cab
