Default Newbie Needs Help

So before the flaming begins just really looking for ya'll opinions on what I'm planning on doing.

Just a brief overview; I owned an 05 Subaru WRX all decked out and this past weekend I went to watch Borat and someone stole my ride. Unfortunately it was recoved BURNED, everything was taken out of the car. So now I have to find a new ride.

Looking to get an 03-06 2500 4x4 Cummins really looking at the mega cab. Just like every other car what are some of the problems that occur with these year models, pros/cons, what are people paying for them, and what upgrades are there (inexpensive) for lifts and engine management.

Oh and if any of you know someone selling this exact truck let me know.

Thanks Again,
Rudy

WOW that's one helluva jump there !!

I've got just two words for ya ..... DO IT !!!!

Those Megacabs are AWESOME !!! If I needed a new truck today, I'd buy one in a New York minute. Of course since I've seen how cool jakebrakes truck looks as a dually, I'd probably make that my first mod.

LOL !!

Welcome aboard brotha !!

LOL .... it's from a movie ...

on another note ....

Get the Megacab !! It would be your best bet to get on now before January when all of the new emissions crap goes on. I don't think you could go wrong with it.

Well here in San Antonio, the emissions thing hasn't poked its head out. I am driving around my dads old 86 GMC Farm truck until i get about a 5k down pymnt ready plus I figured I need another 2k - 3k for my exhaust, engine management, wheels, suspension lift, and propane inj.

Has anyone here completed this set up?

rudy

check with the guys at wolfe in vernon a heck of a drive but maybe worth it. I lived in sa for 28 years before moving to amarillo (good move). been here 10 and the dealers are just as bad here as they are there. thats why i go to small towns and shop around. i am not affliated with wolfe in any way they just treated me good . get megacab its great . where in sa are i grew up in helotes.

I'm not sure if anyone here has done those mods on a new Megacab yet, but yeah, those mods were all done on other Ram's.
