Default 2001 Dodge 3500 van 5.9

Does anyone know how many splines the rear axle has on 2001 3500 van? I'd rather not pull it to count unless absolutely necessary

It's a 1 ton van and I'm sure it's factory but don't know actual size. I was told once it had the corporate diff if that helps

Seems no one wants to talk about what axle is under there..... Might be corporate 9.25, might be D60..... Can you post a pic of the rear axle, from the back of the van? Also, if you can find any numbers on it, those would help too.

I just found that corporate 9.25 axle should have 31 splines. If this is incorrect please let me know

Sounds reasonable to me.... is that full floating rear?? The vans got some odd stuff over the years.

From what I can find I believe it's semi floating. I was beginning to think I wasn't going to find an axle...anywhere..but finally did. This has been my work van for several years now and has 360,000 miles. I've had pretty much everything rebuilt except the 5.9 engine...great motor in my opinion.
Again, I appreciate the help
