2003 Rams - The Forgotten Club
I don't have a spare tire to get in the way so I can dump on each side but will probably just dump them together behind the roll pan out of sight. I don't like to see exhaust unless it is a little special. Like the 2010 dual setup with the eyebrows on the bumper.
2 layer tapered billet aluminum would look good out the rear quarters evenly spaced, there is no discolouration from the heat and they polish to a mirror finish and as a result of this design they look overall beefier while retaining same hole size as the stainless ones. At 100 bucks each they are worth it, I talked a freind into it last week (single set-up) and it looks so good I plan to do mine when I lift the truck as my 3 year old stainless ones are looking taddy. PS. Posted my next mod plans last night and already on page 4 so its been busy on here, so just to keep the forgottens rolling.
AF, 0302hemiguy wants to join the forgottens but can't find my reply to him on how to join, can you help him out. Thanks.

Well guys,
I'm having connection problems with my internet service. I thought this was only a problem for me overseas, apparently not. Truck is in the paint shop. I recieved the Magnaflow SI/DO muffler and think this is going to sound great. It is a through and through style with an internal split for the dual pipes. I'm excited bout getting this warped up.

The performance mods are the most fun.. I am envious...
I am frustrated with having to redo my paint and the flashing ABS warning is a distraction. I'll get the muffler on and get the ABS warning light fixed. I'm not getting any response on Diablo forum and I'll start calling when I get my truck back. Plus my internet is hit and miss and I mostly can't connect.
Your paint is nice VA, I talked with the Guy who I have chosen to do the big body and paint for my Truck today and he has accepted the challenge. I am # 3 on his list of Mopar customer projects and the timeframe is looking like Sept 2011 and that is good for 3 reasons, gives me time to complete the 6" lift, gears, 35's and tranny work, gather and pay for the new parts I need to have for the new look, and because it will take that long to plan how to come up with the 10K plus that his end bill will be. I have pondered about buying a new Ram but cannot justify paying off 50 k over 5/6 years, so thats all I am gonna say for now other than pretty exited about my trucks future as an F5 sassy green Ram.
That was the problem I had, I can't justify buying a new truck with the little I use Red. And my friends are buying new trucks and of course I got the itch for a change so decided to mod old red up a little to satisfy the need for change. The old girl has her challenges being a 03 and I had a beautiful 04 RCSB I could have gone with, but I said to hell with it and stuck with Red. I'm just looking for a nice street truck... doesn't have to be the lowest or fastest. But of course when she shows some leg I want her to be noticed. lol
Update: The truck is out of the paint shop and I am totally stunned by the work they did. The roll pan is beautifully done. Also, had the new Magnaflow installed (30" long, si/do) It sound much smoother than the old FM50 and feels like it has more power. Still got the ABS warning light to contend with, but no sweat. Redtruck is coming together. I'll start posting pictures soon.
PIcs, yes, and I change my mind like the weather so who knows really what I'll be doing next, got grass sodding of my back yard and a fence build to contend with to keep the mrs happy so my summer mod spending will be tight, So show us your roll pan!
