Ouch..... Wonder how many of them they actually sold. (I didn't pay that much for my truck.....)

Should be fun once it's installed, and tuned.

I'll also add my thanks for the update.

Good to finally see what you had planned for the intake.
That's a nice looking package.

I don't know how many they sold but I have seen a few rigs with them installed. They also had a stand alone kit with it's own computer. I like the fact that the stock computer can run this setup. The workmanship on this setup is top notch.
When you figure people are asking $1,000 for a M1, not saying they're getting that much. Plus $4-500 for a throttle body depending on what you buy and the cost of one of these 6 packs isn't quiet so bad. An air gap is $600 so again yes the 6 pack is spendy but I am not going to complain as I didn't pay full price.

This project has taken a lot longer than I thought it ever would. And now with surgery coming up it might be on hold even longer. But I do know I'll have it back on the road again at some point.

I know you've been waiting (not like I'm that important) to see what I had planned. I wish I had the skills to make my own intake.

Nice new toy. I'd have it worn out before it ever got on the motor.

It is hard to put it back in the box and put it on a shelf in the garage. It's pretty enough to use as a center piece.

On my motor build i designed my open intake and built it at my shop. I could build them and hell is charge 300-600 for that intake. But it looks so sexy!

when I get back to my state I'll gladly post pics. I would like to start an album with all my pictures. It's sorta like the Hughes one but with two intakes (so old school terms a 4 barrel)

Okay it's time to bring this thread back to life.

I picked the engine up from the machine shop on Monday. I am glad I had the engine gone through as the cylinders were out of round. It seems that the shop that had built the engine prior to this hadn't used torque plates. The next problem was that the pistons showed sign of being overheated. And then the crank was out of balance also. Here are the sheets from the shop showing the balance on the crank.
