Off with the old, on with the new.

The adapter. But it would be opposite, so the shock bottom would swing outboard. Not this one, but one like it.

The other shock mount. Obviously it would replace the existing one, but it would move the hole outboard by almost 1/4"

This is the issue- its only about 1/8 of an inch between the springs and the frame now.

Sitting on its shocks but only in the back. I have plenty of adjustment now.

Plenty of clearance for the suspension now.

All bolted back together with the hitch tacked in. The hitch is 2" lower now.

Bottom left hand corner of the picture is the gussets. One is held in place with a magnet.

Everything tacked in. If you look closely, you can see the little gussets. Not sure if Ill use them.

The bars will be dropped down and tied in after I box the top.

Tacked in and looking good to me. Shocks are just hanging for now.

Proposed c-notch. Ill cross brace them after install and boxing.

All that work, gone. I should have paid attention. See the pile of metal dust in the floor?

This shows the upper and lower. I would like the lower to mount in the middle hole, to allow more adjustment.

Where the upper mount needs to be, at a minimum. A notch will give me an option of a higher location, and more clearance.

How it sits now, with everything as I originally mounted it. I might want to lower the rear a touch. I might even lower the whole truck for special occasions.

I dont know what I was thinking. I should have aligned it the other way. I can fix it, with a little work.

The upper shock mount needs to be almost exactly where the tab on the left needs to be. Im an idiot. I didnt account for the spacers needed to clear the axle tubes.

The lower A-arm. These two bars wont allow the shock to go through. If I move the upper outboard, itll be impossible.

Spring hits the frame, and the lower mount is still about an inch away.

Goodies. Shocks and springs, AN fittings and hoses, and tabs.

Love the AN fittings and the shape. It needs some supports and clamps.

Heater lines. I like the shape, but thats all. I have stuff on the way to fix it.

A better shot of the radiator closeout I made. Not perfect, but Itll work.

Heater lines. They will have AN fitting close to the firewall, and be flared with a hose at the engine.
