Looked at Heli-Coil kits, to fix my caliper bolt threads.
Also will need to purchase Heli-Coil kit for the stripped threads on the transmission pan bolts.

Heli-coils are awesome! Its all heli-coils holding my clutch pressure plate to flywheel bolts... saved me from having to spend $150 on a flywheel after getting the current one resurfaced.

But if you've never used them before... don't thread them in too far because you cannot back them out!!

You talking not threading them in too far, so I can break the tang off the bottom?
The good thing is, the threads I need to fix are open on the other side. (The trans pan bolt actually is using a skinnier, longer bolt with a nut on the other end -- torque ratings are there for a reason! Don't always attempt to seal a leak by tightening the bolt more!)

Well thats the flip side of it... only thread them in exactly as far as you need to, cause you can't break the tab off. But I guess in your case it doesn't matter since you can take them all the way through and start over if need be. Thats how the flywheel was too.

Oh, and threadlock them too! And don't put a bolt through them until the thread lock dries.

Ordered some stuff for it (and my garage)!!

Impact Wrench
Impact Wrench Sockets (inch)
Air Tool hose connection fittings
Faceshield (safety)
Banjo Bolts (brake hose to caliper attachment)
Crush washers (go under the banjo bolts)
Brake Line fitting adapters (will make it easier for me to bench-test the master cylinder I believe to be bad)
Grommet assortment
Vacuum cap assortment
Cotter pin assortment
Bolt/nut gauge (size and thread pitch)
Fender cover
Brake bleeder screws
brake bleeder kit
Grease fitting assortment
Pair of 6-ton jack stands (have 1 pair already)
Rivet gun

$320 total. I support the economy!
Ordered from Jegs and Northern Tool (jegs.com and northerntool.com)
Summit had most everything I needed, but not in stock

Chilling at Al Udeid AB, Qatar (paradise), waiting for a flight to the USA.
Figured since I'll be back by the time the stuff arrives at my house, it would be a great time to order it.

Today I changed my fuel Injector O-Rings. One was leaking, it had a bad crack in it. And I would of changed my Oil. But I accidentally striped off the drain plug. Now I have to wait till I buy another one.
