I would recheck it after getting all the lines done, and brakes bled. Step HARD on the pedal a couple times, and the shoes will center themselves where they need to be. At which point, you will likely need to adjust them. (tighter....)

I don’t like making brake lines. Worse, I like the flaring tool even less. I’m done making brake lines. They’re all installed. No gas in my butt to bleed them tonight. Tomorrow. Just hoping they don’t leak. Wont be surprised if they do.

My advice to anyone doing brake lines: spend dough on a good quality flare tool. These cheap $20 - $40 ones are suspect at best.

Yep.

I used the Titan double flare tool for about $50; it worked a treat.

Those cheap ones? Are ... well, cheap crap.

Take a LOT more patience than I have at 65 ...

I’m hoping I have no leaks Ralph. That cheap flaring tool doesn’t give me a warm n fuzzy feeling. I practiced like hell before actually using it on my lines. I improved to be sure but still not as good as it could be. That tool has limitations. If I have to rework them I’ll look at that Titan.

I’m assuming back-right, back-left, front-right, front-left in that order??? With Dodge one is never certain. Also thinking I may need to do them twice.

That's how it works out, yes.

Logic is furthest ---> nearest to the master cylinder.

That’s how I learned it but I know of cases it doesn’t sequence that way. Who knows how they piped those cars. Probably has sumpin to do with global warming.

BTW, that Titan looks like the way to go.

Knowing it's Mopar, it's more like "Was it put together by Charles with a red plaid shirt, Luis with the blue plaid shirt, or Charles with the green plaid shirt?"

Mopar used to be horrible about using umpteen part numbers for the exact same part, except it wasn't the exact same part ...
