Energy Suspension had factory replacements in urethane. I just can't seem to get the old ones out. It looks like razorblades are the only way. On Tuesday the outer tie rods and inner axle bearing seals are arriving. I am pretty much all caught up until those arrive.
I have no clue how the originals mount..... Given their propensity to disintegrate, maybe just grab 'em with some channel locks, and take 'em out in chunks. See what ya end up with. When you have the new ones in hand, mounting may become obvious. Maybe.....
Starting to look like a real chassis now. Great progress.
This week I will finally see it sitting on it's wheels. The Belltech website says these springs and shocks will lower the front end 0" - 2". The next kit was from 2" - 4". That was possibly lower than I wanted to go. Next Saturday I hit the road for a ten day trip. When I get back I will get the Stude in the shop and start the process of making body mounts and frame boxing plates.

Today the balance of the Dakota's body parts went to the auto salvage yard in the sky (okay, it was actually in Mound House, NV). My trailer is empty again, finally.

Couldn't find any other buyers for 'em?? They looked to be in pretty good condition????
Activity on multiple ads dried up about 4 weeks ago. That, and something is moving into the shop, soon. I needed to empty the trailer to get this on board.
