that's actually a good point. by looking at the numbers quickly it appears that the 265/70r16 tires actually have a bigger contact patch than the 235/85r16 tires that you put on. again I didn't actually so the full blown calculation with the arc lengths and all that good stuff, but that's what it seems like in my head.

you are correct, even if the tire is the same height the width plays a significant role in contact patch

This picture is December of last year when she hit 300K, although now she has 306K. Truck pulled 4 horse trailer all over US with horses and only this month is the first major problem I have had with this truck, all original (except replaced a radiator couple years ago).

I thought you couldnt do a T/S lift on 2WD Durango's. I was going to do one until I found that out because they don't have torsion bars in the front suspension. It has coil springs.
