I dont back up the cutting... Struggling to get a stuck bolt out is stupid when you can do it the right way the first time and drop the hitch. If the bolt is seized then you can easily knock it out from the inside out with the hitch down. Watch what type of bolt you use before running trips to the hardware store, id rather use the orig bolt before that.

What are the part numbers (or a link) where you get the shackles, and does cranking the TS effect the ride a lot?

You can get them from Oreiley Auto too. At first my front end was a little squeaky but it worked itself out, the ride will be a little firmer but its well worth it for the look it gets.

That is kind of what I thought, the ride would be firmer... mine feels a bit 'squishy' in the front end anyway.
Can someone show me exactly what to turn as far as the TS on the front... sounds like a very simple way to get some ride height..

If you look under your truck, you will see 2 big bars in the shape of a V going to both tires from the middle. There are two large nuts you need to turn, you cant miss them.

Thanks. This is definitely something I will be doing (unless I win the lotto and can afford a bigger lift). Was going to one of my fishing spots today that has some ruts, and bottomed out on the center part of the road... I need more ground clearance.

if you are bottoming out on the differential (the differential hits the road in this case) the only solution is bigger tires, just FYI

So this lift won't provide more ground clearance? And I am running maximum size tires now (31x10.50-15) Looks like I'm out of luck unless I get a really expensive lift...which I can't do financially...

doing the t/s lift is to allow you to put bigger tires on there than you already have on it... i think with the t/s lift you might be able to fit 33's on there... but i might be wrong... someone feel free to correct me... a lot of members do the 3 inch body lift and the t/s lift
