Pretty sure he's meaning about a body lift, not a t/s.

Yeah. I was able to comprehend what he said just fine. I just don't understand why you'd want to spend more time and money to get one extra inch. Besides, with a body lift, you get an ugly frame/body gap.

No I ment a frame lift. the guy said I would get a new set of keys and some kind of spacer for the rear. I have been looking and I cant tell which shackle to get.

I don't need you to Google anything for me, and I don't need you to be a ****. I post in here for answers that I have questions for. I am a disabled veteran and this is my only means of transportation so I cannot afford to make mistakes, so when I ask a simple question answer it to the best of your ability. I see that there are different shackles used and that was why I was asking, I looked around and the shackles that have been used in previous posts the manufacture states that they are not compatible.

You can use a lowering kit for a chevrolet 1500 or use an add a leaf spring for the rear. I used the Add-a-leaf from BDS Suspension Part Number 119159.

For the front you can just tighten the torsion bar bolts 8 turns if memory serves. Just to be clear this is a suspension lift, not a body lift. You will need an alignment afterwards as well.

If you search within dodgeforum, I promise you'll see that question answered at least 10 times per thread, for each thread talking about the t/s lift. You just need to utilize the tools that are available.

As for the body lift, as far as I can remember they typically went for about $200-300. I don't have one nor do I plan on getting one, so memory is lacking for definitive answer.

I am going to get a spacer and new torsion bar key. My question is even after all that could I still do a TS and shackle lift to get me 2 more inches? And if I do which lines am I going to have to change out, or lengthen?
