Default speedodemeter and fuel gauge

Hey i changed my battery on my 1998 neon, now when i go to start the car my speedometer and fuel gauge are not working!!!! I checked the fuse everything is fine. I need know asap wat can be the issue. Thanks

does it still start and run?

If so, slap your dash with about the same force u'd use to slap your girl, and see if it comes back on.

If so, you get to resoder your instrimunt panal.

You may not have done it correctly. Make sure the point changes color. You may have to add some solder.

Yes. when I did my wifes car i had to add solder to the pins. If you have a stedy hand you can add flux for a flawless connection with a fine tiped hobby paint brush, then add silver solder. Use a decent soldering iron also. none of the cool to the touch tip soldering irons, to me, do not seem reliable.

Try adding solder first, if not, you might have overheated something. A new cluster is like $30 at a yard. Are your other gauges working?

my temputure gauge and the kilometer counter are working only. I might get a new cluster will tha fix my promblem?
