yes the tan and yellow would show 0.1,0.0,0.1,0.0 as my son would turn the motor with a wrench. the orange and grounding to a ground would hold 5.0 volts.I still need to test the camshaft sensor to see if it does the same. may be couple of days. will get back with you .
ok I'm back this time i had cleared the trouble codes before testing my crank sensor and what I got was 5.0 to 5.1 as we turned the motor did not drop which is what i don't want (checked the wire going to ecm/pcm). What would that mean? Not sure how to check the camshaft sensor,do not have distributor which is the only instructions i have deals with distributor unhooking and grounding. Have the 4.7 motor.
tested the cam sensor it was reading 0.5 to 0.6 made sure no trouble codes hand cranking like i did the crank sensor never went above those numbers crank was 5.0 to 5.1 never went below those numbers when it should.
I was wondering my old pcm had an software update sequence#748850. I don't know if my new pcm would have this on it or if it would have anything to do with it.
