Durability of the 2.0
Iwas just wondering how much abuse can the 2.0 liter take and how long do they usually last with normal maintenance?

i just mean the 2.0 liter in general of the 2nd and 3rd gens. Mine is a2002,has 50,000 miles and i take very good care of it and rarely beat on it.

theres no such thing as a 3rd gen, but ive seen them last 150,000+ so you gots a ways to go. just keep up on maintenence

ok thanks, sry i didnt mean 3rd gen i meantlike the beggining of 2nd gen's to the 2005's. hopefully she doesnt blow up soon lol.

it wont blow up anytime soon if you dont beat on it plus you should still have the 7/70000 mile warrenty on it..lol

thats only if he opted to pay extra for it. my 3/36000 is way over. and i still refuse to pay 400 for new ball joints lol

mine is second hand and i got the 3/36000 and the 7/70000 at no charge to me..lol

dealer wants 400 to do them and im too lazy and cheap to go to a regular shop prob bcause i trust no1 with y car and its a pain in the *** job to do. ill do it one day though
