Got my Redhead steering gear box in and plan to install it on Thursday

BBartow............for a 5.9 that's pretty good for town driving. I fueled the kerosene burner up on a return trip today and barely cracked 14 mpg, 27.4 gallons on 386 miles.

Corbo1962, there are several of us looking into Redhead. Feed back would be great. I'm looking at doing the 98 (well my mechanic will be). K.

Put on my headers with new fel pro header gaskets and swap over some more sensors

Drove it to the junkyard with a friend to get some parts for her car. Came across a 98 2500 4x4 with both axles and all suspension still there. A bit rusty but really tempting at $250 for both...might have to do it.

You should jump on that deal just on general principles. Grab EVERYTHING. Springs, shackles, frame mounts, EVERYTHING.

I believe I'd cruise that junk yard for more finds, sneak'em out over time..........K.
