tested out my new backup camera

parallel parked in a spot between two cars and was able to get within a couple inches of the cars bumper behind me

it's nice to be able to see from your rear bumper rather attempting to use the rear view mirror and having the car behind you all but disappear under the tailgate.

No more getting out to check the distance! love it!

Default Aftermarket

dsertdog56............Love your truck (I left you a note). Nice wheels & tires.
Thanks for posting.

Jigabop............Backup camera, you guys must have some serious parking issues
for this expense (I'd guess $700). I must admit, my favorite resturant in town I have to go through the first light and if nothing I think I can squeeze the diesel into, turn around at the court house and pick one from the opposite side. That's if I can get there before some savy beamer zips in there. K.

Thank you sir. I did not receive anything private. Maybe I don't check in often enough to check messages. In that case I apologize.

yeah... helps backing into parking spots with a car behind you too...

hard to judge distance between the hitch and the car behind me when the car behind me starts disappearing from the rear view mirror when I'm 10 feet away from them lol.

That's what the hitch is for! Just go slow till you feel a little "bump", then pull forward a few feet

I guess yours would sit a little higher then mine, I always turn my head instead of using the rear view when backing up. Ive honestly never tried parallel parking mine so ive got no idea lol.

Fair enough, not allowed to keep reciever hitches in in my area so ive only got to worry about the bumper haha.

Today setup an appt for the truck, gonna be getting battery terminals replaced (all corroded and im not doing that in this cold!) , CEL diagnosed and fixed, and get the idle issue fixed. Ughh this cold just sucks all the motivation to do anything outa ya...
