Fired it up and let 'er rip. The exhaust you hear at first is the other truck. So ya gotta wait for the starter motor before you can hear the Dodge's exhaust. Had to use the other truck to jump it that's why it was running. DynoMax mufflers RULE!

Edit: My new cell phone takes 1080p videos. Watch it in true HD.

^^Those look pretty good, but I couldn't stand how the driver one isn't tucked under.

I'm sure everyone does this, but I seldom put the 2500's on the farm in 4wd. So, today I cycled both for the month in 4H/4L to keep'em lubricated. K.

The farm is flat, with good hay paths. However, the diesel is heavy and if wet and will leave ruts (and 4wd is necessary). The 98 is the farm truck with 4wd/goose neck ball and weight of 5,000 LBS, the 99 is the hauler or truck of distance for MPG's. The other 2500 is because I like it (and decided to keep it).

Got it stuck today. 2WD sucks. Pulled it out with a lawn tractor with a couple bags of grain on it for ballast I simply didn't have any traction on the front wheels to turn...

Tried to work on my exhaust. Got the y pipe bolts off and than I noticed a spot on the floor by the tank and my fuel line is leaking again. I'm just going to try to find a new line. At least It flexed a little for me when I was putting it on the jack stands. That made me kind of happy again although it is kind of lame haha.

Decided after she started knocking that I should probably put some oil in it....Damn leaky front and rear main seals

Also can't decide if the noise I hear is spark knock or valve rattle... Getting time for a top end rebuild, if I keep the truck long term...

Fixed my fuel leak. Soldered the new adapter to seal it better.

Had some fun down some muddy backroads:

Changed the diff fluid and painted the cover:

Cleaned up the rims and painted black, before:

After:

Just waiting for the gasket to cure to drive around. The diff got really hot on my trip(redonkulous grades), felt pretty sluggish until I let it cool down, then was good to go and on my 1500KM trip, I averaged 16MPG, which is better than my previous best of 14 haha
