What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?

I've kept quiet on this one, but I've had my first glitch in a couple of years. I have been running it between neighbors and farms at low speed. My old 98 farm truck speedo began acting up and now does not exceed 35 mph, tach works but is well off the mark. I can live without the speedo but the tach I have to have, and I assume on a 98 the sensor moved to the rear differential linked with ABS (or so I've read). It's off for a replacement on Monday. K.

Went on a first gen hunt today (have yet to find a 12v that it hadn't been played with). Black smoke, how stupid...........K.
Edit: That's what I'm still looking for Ham Bone (Barn Find). I can live with some rust and Cow S***, if the motors good (I assume tranny work would be necessary, and 4wd is a must). On a higher note, after discussions on here with aoferrell2, I just hand calced 14.2 mpg on the last tank of fuel on the 97. I just filled with 87 octane on the 97. This means I can choose the gasser or diesel on long no load trips (diesel is 16.3 mpg).

Man I just bought my '90 after never being messed with for $1500 in early march. It has been messed with now, but not for black smoke. Needed injection pump rebuilt, which lead to an expensive mistake and another pump plus new injectors. It wasn't going to stay stock anyway.
I have a line on a '92 that has terrible surface rust but no holes that I know of, it is a W250 5spd with 109k on it, original owner. He is gonna retire and move to panama within the next year and guess who will be the first one in line to buy his old rusty dodge.
Keep looking and do not be afraid to knock on doors. I got my '90 that way, and if I get this '92 it will be the same story.
