Here's a link to the Chrysler sales codes from ??? to April, 2008:
http://starparts.chrysler.com/starli.../salescode.pdf

There are about 10 different sales codes listed for tow hooks.

Today I undercoated my Ram with snow. Lots and lots of snow. Now my garage floor is a puddle because the melted snow has frozen under the roll-up door.

In the morning I may give up on trying to lift the dammed door and just hit the thing with my truck to crack the ice.

Oh, that. That didn't happen. I just kicked the 5h17 out of the door to crack the ice and it opened right up.

It felt kinda nice kicking the dammed thing -- it attacked my truck a couple of years ago. I knew I should've made replacing that missing safety cable a higher priority... and I'm reminded of it every time I look at the passenger side rear fender that got deeply scratched by a hunk of broken spring. But we were lucky that it only lightly grazed my wife after it ricocheted off of the fender, so I can't complain too much.

Hey guys! Havent been on in a long while. Been busy with life, and family.

I finally broke down and junked the 2nd gen. She was stripped to just the cab, and frame... scrap was going for 70.00 a ton. Got a total of 67.90 for it. But i scored around 3k for the rest of the parts that i sold.

I still have the 3rd gen.. thinking about dumping it for a diesel though....

From beginning, to end.....

I know it's not the Cummins you'll be shopping for but, after driving the 2015 6.7L diesel 5 days a week, I'm quite impressed, it's a solid motor.

Fired it up and drove around for the first time in 3 months as I was out of the country. Ran great as expected. Truck has been left outside to sit 8 times for between 3 and 7 months in her 18 years. The only things that have ever complained about the weather is the dash and paint. Since I think I'm past depreciation and gas is back at 1.80 this thing almost makes economic sense again.
