Received my new Skyjacker M95 "scratch and dent" shocks yesterday and just opened them up. They look new! I can't see any blemishes and they come sealed and wrapped exactly like new ones. Man, for half price and barely $5 more than the bottom rung Hydros, this is the best deal out there. Can't wait to get them on.

Any tips about installing single tube gassers? They have the tie on them holding them compressed. I assume I attach the bottom and sort of eye ball the top then cut and *whoosh* they fly up into the upper hole?

They will expand slowly. You should be able to 'aim' them at the top hole.

stitch welded a hole in the roof from a p.o. attempt to install the roof console, pulled the biggest crater dent, sound deadened half the roof, stripped the back of the cab after removing the bed.

I spent about 5 minutes changing vacuum checkvalves Didn't fix my defrost only issue, then I sepnt 45 minutes chasing vacuum lines, trying to figure out where the other end to a broken line was. Then I gave up and used the search function and realized if I did that first I would have seen HeyYou posted my answer back in January... the green line coming up from the back on the drivers side is just a vent. I guess that's why it stopped. I found a good use for the whole in the dash and pulled the vacuum harness from, the top and realized I have good vacuum to the control. Need to keep at it but got side tracked by a wifle ball game today.

I am pleased to see you have your priorities straight.

Yep, besides I've really gotten used to just having the windows down. If only I had used the search first we could have gotten another inning in before dark!

I detached my recirc door actuator so I can get some cold air to blow at me instead of at the windshield. I've got vaccum going to the control box, but none coming out and going to the actuator. So while I look around for a new controller or other ideas I pulled the two screws out and with the recirc actuator hanging I get cold air.

Wondering if I could just run another vacuum line direct to the actuator with a cutout somewhere I can reach if I can't find working control box at a reasonable price. That would also keep me from shattering my dash bezel trying to get it swapped.

Installed the two rear M95 shocks this evening. Will tackle the front two tomorrow. All went fine but the bolts were really rusted on. Old shocks seem fine. Hoping there's some improvement or I just wasted money.
