Well, I was going to do a little bit more on finishing up the backup camera install...
But when I went to move my truck closer to the shed so I could work on it, low and behold, a flat battery.
Over the last 6 months I’ve only started and moved it a few times... haven’t driven any distance or run it for any extended amount of time... my bad.

So today I just ordered a battery charger... you’d think that I would have one... but in the past 23yrs I’ve not needed one.
Amazon to the rescue...

Picked myself up a '99 Heap yesterday. Now the truck can be parked and transmission rebuilt along with a list of other items to be done. Planning on making this my new daily driver and saving the truck for "special" occasions.

it's really clean. The interior basically flawless and no rust I've found yet. It may have an issue I didn't notice when I bought it but easier and cheaper to fix than the truck.

Got some new shoes: 20” rims from an 08 ram, and rubber to match.

A little more fitting I think.

I finally got the wiring of the backup camera finished today.
It works... I just need to make the camera mounting bracket (that I’ve been going to do for the past month or so).

As a side note; my battery held charge from last week, so there’s no drain... it was just me starting an moving the truck many times with no long runs to change the battery.
