It was not as bad as I had expected.
Taking the dash out completely makes the heater box an easy job.
Probably the hardest to reach/release are the connectors behind the fuse panel.
Trying to gingerly get the fragile dash out/in by myself was a bit of a physical challenge... thank goodness for small tie-down straps and the holes in the roof frame, so I could suspend one end whilst I work on positioning the other.

LOLOL. A 6-pack I can do..... The Redeye...... I would have to trade my truck in for that.

You are right my shop process are a little high. So an 19 red-eye should work I might be going to Michigan in the summer if so I'll swing by and help. (Never been to Michigan that I can remember)

If I bought a redeye, I think I would keep it myself. At least, until the state decided to revoke my license permanently.

I seriously am trying to plan a trip should only take $3500 in gas to get there in my gas guzzler. You can see how the PO did the 01 2500 to the 96-97 1500 swap 😂

3500 in gas?????? That seems a tad excessive. For that kind of money, I could drive around the country once. Did you slip a decimal point?
