Mine's been idling wierd when I stop and put it in park. It's fine otherwise. Time to do some lookin around. It seems like the idle is trying to correct itself and bouncing from @700-1200 RPM when I put it in park after driving for at least 5 min. HMMM?

T-7...
Got a lot done today.
Clearcoated my bumper and installed the mounting brackets. I have to wait untill Monday to buff and install it.
Welded up my adapters for my exhaust tips and am cleaning up the welds. Cut the grooves for the mounting screws. Will fab up the mounts tomorrow.

This is the third IAC I've put on. It's CLEAN, and mean CLEAN! I even took the time to remove the TB and clean every nook and cranny. IAC is an Idle Air Control Motor on the rear of the TB

Once I get my camera charged I'll make a vid to describe better what it's doing. Also found a trans fluid spot under the truck this morning, maybe it's in heat!?LOL Coming from the divit in the inspection plate. The fluid is a little over full so maybe that's why.

At about 1:30 You can kind of see what I'm dealing with at startup. Any ideas? Is this normal?

Hissing is probably the IAC motor on the back? side of the throttle body. It controls bypass air around the throttle blades to control idle. That is truly odd though, as it looks like it runs pretty good. Have you tried yanking the throttle body, cleaning the **** out of it, paying careful attention to the IAC passages?

Default The wet carpet game

well I started that game that every 2nd Gen has or will play, why is my carpet wet? No smell, clear fluid seems to be water both sides. I checked the 3rd brake light and while removing it realized I am pretty sure in 13 years I have never taken that off. It looked bone dry inside, no rust, no moisture, so I don't think that is it. Of course it will leak now that I broke seal, (coincidentally I need 3 of 4 bulbs in there). Don't think it is the ac vent since I first noticed it on the drivers side.

I am guessing back window or doors for now, this is round one, but with the Florida thunderstorms this should be a fun game.

That's exactly what I did, 3-4 times now. This is the 3rd IAC I've installed and even had it tested at the dealership. New TB gasket and all. I'm at a loss....
